I recently watched the movie, Forks Over Knives, and have been recommending it ever since. It’s one of those movies that I feel every American should watch instead of ninety minutes of the latest moronic episode of some reality show starring famous people with no talent. In this 90 minutes plus, you will actually learn something that can help save your life or someone you know.
Two out of three Americans are now overweight and with that comes a host of health problems and a spike in diseases like Type II Diabetes, heart Disease, stroke and cancer. Half of Americans take at least one prescription drug and our health care costs are through the roof. So, what is the solution? Can it be as simple as adopting a plant-based diet?
In this documentary, Dr. Campbell and Dr. Esselstyn, prove their views that most, if not all, degenerative diseases can be controlled and even reversed, by rejecting processed foods and animal-based foods and adopting a plant-based diet.
I’m convinced. I have seen and heard many stories of people getting rid of Type 2 Diabetes, cancers, and reversing heart disease by changing their lifestyle and nutrition. The information and the proof is here. We, and our health care system, need to be open to receiving it.
