Have something sweet and healthy for this Valentine’s Day. Whether you and your Valentine are vegans or not, this dessert saves on saturated fat and some calories too. Cacao is loaded with antioxidants, more than red wine or green tea, so load up on it. It’s also an aphrodisiac!
2 tbsp of unsweetened cacao powder or cacao nibs
2 tbsp almond butter
1 tbsp of agave nectar
1/4 cup almond, soy or coconut milk
3 to 4 icecubes
Put all ingredients into your Vitamix blender or other and blend until thick and creamy. Garnish with any berries you like, and/or whipped cream (you can buy vegan versions in the store).
