Chai Tea Green Smoothie with Zing!

photo-26I love anything that is chai! So, today I decided to put my tea in my smoothie for an extra kick. So, here’s the recipe for any other chai-lovers out there:

3/4 cup brewed chai tea
1/2 cup almond milk
1/2 frozen banana
4 ice cubes
1 tbsp almond or peanut butter
1 tbsp ground flax or chia seed
A few dashes of cinnamon
1 scoop of green powder (there are many good ones on the marketplace. I use Amazing Grass brand.)
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Blend in your Vitamix or other blender and enjoy!
