Vega One Nutritional Shake Giveaway!

By October 30, 2013Nutrition, Product Review

vegaonestart-fb-sharedphoto-2Ok Team! I am going to let you in on a little nutritional secret that keeps me strong, safe and sexy. Every morning (when I’m home in LA), I make myself a delicious and nutritious plant-based smoothie for breakfast. I am a huge fan of Vega products because of their high standards when it comes to nutrition.

Vega products are all plant-based nutritional supplements, shake powders, bars and snacks designed for athletes. Non-athletes and omnivores also benefit from these products because of the clean fuel they produce and delicious flavors! Vega One, specifically, is the shake powder that I use every morning to make my powerful, energizing smoothie that keeps me satisfied all throughout the morning.

The Vega One Starter Kit, is a convenient, five-day supply of nutrient-packed, plant-based shakes that make it easy to get the benefits of a plant-based diet with one serving a day. Each kit includes a 5-day supply of Vega One with the following flavors:

Vanilla – Delicious and easy to blend flavors with. You can easily make it a green smoothie by adding kale or spinach.
Chocolate – Heavenly! I mix it with peanut or almond butter for a Reese’s Pieces effect 🙂
Berry -Yum! This I use as a refreshing way to mix in fresh berries and get an antioxidant morning boost.

To celebrate my love of Vega and being a Vega ambassador, I am giving away a starter kit to five lucky recipients!

Along with the starter kit, you will also receive a recipe booklet for delicious shake-based recipes and a coupon for a Vega One tub.

Rules for the contest:

2. If you are on Instagram, please follow my posts for nutrition and fitness inspiration!

I’ve been a vegetarian for over four years now. Becoming a vegetarian as a teenager, I was nowhere close to eating as healthy or as properly as I should be. The past year I’ve been making changes to my eating, to ensure I get enough nutrients and protein. However owning my own business, my life can be extremely busy and I just don’t always have the time to make balanced meals. I’ve been looking into and considering VegaOne for on days that I just don’t have the time. At least this way I know I’m getting lots of the things I need, rather than going without!

Hi Jessica! Thanks so much for your reply! Being a vegetarian can be tricky, especially when you’re young. Vega is a great way to supplement your diet and is super easy and time efficient as well! Even though the contest is not over yet, I choose you as one of the five winners. You can email me through the contact page on my site with your shipping address and I will be sure to pass it on to Vega. Thank you!

I will try anything to feel more balanced and healthy while keeping up with my working mom schedule! Keep up the great work, Jen!

Sounds great Rosie! Busy moms need all the help they can get! I’ve just extended the contest until next Wednesday, so you will hear from me then! Thank you!!!

My girlfriend and I are trying to make healthier lifestyle choices, and we’ve been talking about making the switch to a plant based protein powder. I’ve been looking into VegaOne and a couple other brands, but aren’t sure which brand to go with. I’d love to try a sample of VegaOne!

Hi Jen! I recently found out my family has a history of heart disease and decided to take charge of my health. I’ve been doing great with adding more fruits and veggies to my diet, but am having a hard time finding sources of plant based protein that I actually like. (Beans and legumes? Ugh) I have been following Brendan on Twitter for a few months now and thought this would be a great chance to add some variety to my diet. Thanks!

    • Jennifer says:

Thanks for the comment Lauren. I’m so happy you have decided to take charge of your health. Too often people take on family history as their own diagnosis for a disease. I think Vega would be an excellent addition to your diet!

I would like to try Vega. I am always looking for new protein powder. I have a protein shake every morning for breakfast.
