The #1 Self Defense Move

I rarely can rank self defense moves in order of importance. I believe every person, women especially, should learn an arsenal of basics to be able to defend themselves in a variety of dangerous situations. However, The Doctors tv show asked me to teach the one self defense move that every woman should know.

So, I chose the hip throw as the #1 Self Defense Move every woman should know. Getting thrown to the ground or pushed onto a bed/couch puts you in your most vulnerable position. If an attacker throws you down, most likely they are getting on top of you next. So, watch this video to learn how to create some space between you and your attacker, get him off of you and get your feet under you as quickly as possible so you can get away from the scene to safety as fast as you can.
