It’s the most wonderful time of the year.
If you’ve been following along, I’ve been creating holiday gift guides for at least 7 years now just for fun.
No paid placements. No ads. Just ideas to spark inspiration when shopping for that badass woman in your life.
There are gift ideas for the 20-something to the 50 plus woman with prices ranging from $10 to about $150.
This year (like last year), I’m only featuring women owned brands (with one exception).
These are products I either have, will gift to someone or want wrapped up under the tree for me!
Badass Morse Code Bracelet on Etsy:
I spoke at a women’s conference recently and all of the attendees were gifted these bracelets. Badass and humble, these bracelets say “badass” in morse code. A powerful gift for the woman or teenager in your life who’s badassery should be celebrated. You can find them in a women-owned shop on Etsy at a great price point too!
At $9.80 each you get get them for your whole girl gang or your ladies book club.
The Art of Badassery: Unleash Your Mojo With Wisdom of the Dojo
Speaking of book clubs…
Yes, of course, my own book makes the list. And this is because I one million percent know that it will help a woman who may have had a rough year (or 3). Know someone who’s gone through a divorce? Lost her job? Folded her business? Had a miscarriage? Is suffering from grief? This book was written for her. I promise it will give her tools to make her feel more optimistic and powerful in her world.
Publisher’s Weekly says, “this punchy outing lands some blows!”.
Another great stocking stuffer or group gift at just around $15/book.
To continue the theme of badassery… If you’ve seen my keynote, The Art of Badassery, you have seen the definition of Badassery. I originally found this definition on the Urban Dictionary. Now this woman owned Etsy shop has all types of Badassery on her candles. A great gift for anyone who loves non-toxic candles and people! Check out her Etsy shop Principal Badassery.
Future You Project: Fight On Gift Box
While going through a life-changing divorce, Jennifer Zawadzki started receiving gifts in the mail with a personalized note from Future Jen. They were messages of hope and encouragement that led her to leave her corporate job and begin The Future You Project. To bring hope to people who are going through challenging times. There are many themed gift boxes to choose from, my personal favorite is the Fight On box. A great gift for a woman you know struggling with a scary diagnosis or anyone who needs a boost of badassery from their future self!
Lorenza Wine Company: Holiday Bundle
Very few wineries are owned by women but I found one with wine that I absolutely love. As I’ve gotten older I have a harder time drinking red wine so I stick to whites and rosés all year round. With the help of mother-daughter team, Melinda and Michele, I can drink a lovely dry wine without a headache the next day!
Made in Central California, these wines taste like you are sipping them while in France!
If you or your friend is into dry, light whites and rosés, look no further and grab Lorenza’s holiday bundle for your next holiday party gift.
Ho Ho Holy Moly candle by Blow me Candles
I light a candle every day in my home. A candle not only fills your home with a yummy smell but can bring peace and mindfulness into a hectic household. Angel Vu, is the owner of this woman owned business based on Main Street in Santa Monica. Her candles have cheeky names that can be perfect for your badass girlfriends. They ship all over the country too!
Not necessarily women owned or made, but these made my holiday list because they are gorgeous and I want them! I found them on the Revel holiday gift guide. Revel is an online and in person women’s community membership for women in the second half of their life. These tumblers are a beautiful treat for any woman who loves to host or loves her own cocktails. I’m buying them for myself this year!
Fashionable jewelry with a message! The idea behind Lovesnap bracelets is that we can change our thoughts with a snap of our wrists. This is the perfect gift for any woman who has negative thoughts and wants to change them. I mean, WHO doesn’t?!
When I use this facial oil I feel like I’m slathering grassy goodness onto my face. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Jennifer Norman, a badass mother on a mission. And I can fully get behind this clean beauty brand. The facial oil is a great stocking stuffer for women who stick to natural skincare routines.
For the woman who loves her coffee, minus the toxic pesticides and unfair labor practices, Little Waves coffee is a woman forward business based in Durham, NC. For transparency, I have not yet tasted their coffee but I will be ordering some for gifts this holiday season!
Love these suits! Started by two ex-Lululemon employees, these bathing suits look stylish and comfortable. I love that they use inclusive body types in their ads. That’s truly badass. I don’t have one yet, but they are on my wishlist!
Gwen Beloit Jewelry: Heart Necklace
For the badass woman who wears her heart on her sleeve… or chest. I love this necklace as a daily reminder to keep your heart open! Gwen’s jewelry line is priced reasonably and she has tons of beautiful, gold options. Check out the whole site.
For a gift that gives back, check out House of Shan. For every purchase, $5 will be given to charities that support women and children. I love these retro athletic socks AND there are cute sweatshirts, coffee mugs and trucker hats all stitched with an imperfect heart on it to remind us to “live what you love”.
Again, at reasonable price points, these gifts can be great group gifts as well.
